New equipment at the Bakehouse

We reported in our last newsletter that an Oamaru family trust had donated funds to purchase a new dough mixer, sheeter and divider. And here they are in operation!

The team at Best Bakehouse, Kakuuto, Uganda are so grateful to use this new equipment, and they are already seeing greater results in production with reduction of waste. We will show you some videos of the finished breads in our next update!

So great to be able to work with people in Oamaru, New Zealand to see a real difference in the lives of our friends in Kakuuto, Uganda. The Bakehouse Project provides employment and training for many, as well as bread for the markets and the very poor.
